I have no functioning brain on this. Is Brojees the libertarian who used to live in Venezuela until the country went totally to hell?

What a novel idea: editing and deleting each other's posts. How could that work? Wouldn't it be alarming not to recognize a post with your name on it after someone had edited it? Think of all the impish ways we could edit each other's posts on TZ! Put in and take out "not's," for instance. But it would be more fun on YAP.

Yes, Bill Munz is Brojees. Google knows everything.

Bill and I used to have a good bit of back-channel contact. He wanted me to retire, move to Venezuela, get a hot young housekeeper and be rich there. Bubba knew better.

I wonder where Bill ended up. My memory, vague as it is, is that he felt he had to leave Venezuela. I think he was eying Aruba.

As I remember, he did have to leave but I don't recall where he may have been thinking about putting down roots.

Thanks for finding that, Robbie. No, the second guy wouldn't have been Brojees. Like Bricklayer, he and I had many back-channel conversations. After a difficult start, we grew to respect each other.

Yes, I definitely remember that he had to leave Venezuela when things got bad. It was complicated because his beautiful bride was Venezuelan, not American. I know he was in Texas for some period of time, but he wasn't planning on staying there. I lost track of him several years ago.

I went over to his board a few times. I didn't know you could alter other posters' posts, but wouldn't that just be like him? emoticon

That is under discussion as I type. I am officially against it. I think that it will stay because of having to change the topic of a thread to the topic from the OP as per the Rule. I do agree with that, and if it was limited to that I would support it. I've had posters several times refuse to change the topic, so I had to do it. Got me irritated a few times.

I let them know when that's not a good idea and it puts me in a kickass mood. ;-)

That's a fascinating post, Cooter. What are you talking about?

What is under discussion? What are you against? What will stay because of having to change the topic?

Is a puzzlement!

Coffee, Tanya.

It's 72 and should hit around 92 and it's always humid this time of year. I'm not working outside.

Belle, what I was talking about was Admins editing the posts of members. We have a Rule that the title of a thread has to be the title of the OP that is being used to start the thread. That prevents folks from using flamebait titles for threads. Sometimes folks use a different title for a thread than the title of the OP and it has to be changed. If they don't, we have to. That will be evident in the thread that we did it because we have asked them to more than once. Some want to be able to edit the content of a post. I oppose that. It will likely stay, though due to the opinions of the form owner and other Admins at YAP.

Kroger has whole boneless ribeyes for $6.99. Given that their meat is better than it used to be I would normally buy one and have it cut into steaks. However, I'm trying to get my finances in order along with not enough room in the freezer, so I'll stick to the little boneless top sirloins I can get at my grocery store that are the right size. I do need to get a few things today so will be getting out.

Hopefully, the legs will cooperate today and I can finish the floors.

There's nothing like a feline alarm clock. I have a ten-pound cat standing on me and telling me to get my lazy ass up. I put my hand out and she head butts and gives me a rub so that I can scratch her head and neck. That's all. Get your ass up now!

What are you going to do?

Thanks, Cooter. This would not apply to TZ threads because they are general.

What you're going to do when Shadow lands on you (or at any other time) is what she wants you to do. You do it her way, or you wish you had.

I think Cooter is making a YAP post on Time Zone.

It happens.

Good morning, all. We have 59F under blue skies, heading for a high of 77F.

Jackson has a training appointment after lunch, and I have a doctor appointment late this afternoon to review the results of all the tests she had me take. Two appointments in one day is crazy-busy! (Ain't retirement grand?)

Coffee, please, Tanya.

59 this morning and foggy.

Our days are so interesting. They start out gloomy, and we're in suspense about what time (not whether) they will brighten up.

I hope yours and Jackson's appointments are successful, Robbie, meaning that you get the results you want from both.

Do you all see BookBub? It's an e-mail thing I get in my Inbox every morning -- sales on kindle books. Do you think I should buy this book?

Well, I wouldn't, but that's because I don't care for supernatural stuff.
