Happy Birthday, Lisa!!

Coffee, Tanya.

It's 41 and will rain through tomorrow and maybe the weekend. It will get some warmer.

That sounds cool about getting the TV through your hearing aids, Belle!

I hope that Robbie is feeling better this AM. I don't have much on my agenda today other than try to take care of a few things around the house as my body will allow. I'm not off to a bad start, so we'll see once I've had coffee, breakfast, and a shower.

It's funny how I didn't want to wear jeans during the day unless I was going out. Dropping down a size has made them more comfy, so I'll be wearing them some.

Good morning, all. It's 31F with clear skies and a huge left-over moon at my house, with a forecast high of 43F. Sounds like a lovely day!

Getting up this morning wasn't as painful as getting up yesterday morning, and I have a chiro appointment later this afternoon. Bit by bit...

But sitting at the computer is very uncomfortable, so that's all for now.

Coffee, please, Tanya.

Happy birthday, you Pisces!

February 21st Zodiac. As a Pisces born on February 21st, you are well known for your intuitive, selfless and imaginative nature.

Throughout your life, you have noticed the ability to understand the emotions and thoughts of others. Your innate ability to sense when others are troubled allows you to be compassionate and supportive. When a loved one is in need, there is little that you would not sacrifice for their well-being. While your friends and family greatly appreciate your selflessness, they may admire your imagination the most. You use your creative mind to find the best in situations and people.

The Sabian Symbol for your birthday is a petrified forest. Although many trends come and go in society, there are some aspects of culture that are indestructible. Remember that among the indestructible aspects of your life are your past achievements.

That's pretty much Janet, Belle! emoticon Her birthday was Tuesday.

I'm going to see my PCP next week. She's off tomorrow. I'm concerned about my kind of losing it even when I'm up instead of just after I get up. This stuff has been due to low BP in the past, and although it was just 102/58 at the pain clinic, I don't think that's it. It's been that low I believe there before, but she got another machine and it was right around 100/52 both times. I'm trying to move slowly and not make any sudden turns.....lol.

This recliner is more comfortable than my bed. Shadow and I took our first hap after lunch in it. Y'all should her tell me that she wants to chase the pizza or give her the attention that she so richly deserves in the mornings after I've had breakfast. emoticon

This seems to be the winter that won't quit.

We have a storm coming in overnight and tomorrow that the forecasters are calling "rain/snow." That usually means they don't know which it will do.

Good morning all. I will have a cup - bottomless variety - of black coffee please, Tanya.

Currently it is 4*C (40*F), working its way to a daytime high of 15*C (60*F). Currently socked in by fog. After the fog burns off this morning, it will be sunny.

Not too much happening today. 'I have a couple of appointments at the university this afternoon. Then i have a date with a crazy blond lady tonight.

Robbie i hope things continue to improve with the back today. Hopefully in a day or two things will be back to normal.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! emoticon Mom ordered me a beautiful cake with purple icing. Yummmmmmmmmmm....

Thanks for the zodiac explanation, Belle. I do have to admit that I try hard to be helpful to people. But creativity? Definitely not me, unfortunately....

I woke up with a sore throat and headache, but went to my weekly meeting. Got back home and have spent almost all of the last 14 hours finishing up editing the Head Start Parent Handbook. LOVE the work, but not the quick deadlines! Just got it off to her, and now I'm heading for bed....

Robbie, I hope you can get some relief....

Cooter, I'm watching those storms -- we're even supposed to have severe thunderstorms here Saturday and Sunday. (Mother Nature, would it be okay to please melt what's left of the snow piles first?) It's nearly gone; streets are dry and it's only left where shovelers made piles....

Enjoy your date night, Hawk!

Hola!

Coffee, Tanya.

It's 51 and even the frogs are looking for higher ground. This will continue through tomorrow at least.

I suppose that I have a date with a black cat. I know it's not laundry day, but I've got a small load in the dirty clothes hamper that I could go ahead and wash. It's some of my winter house clothes.

I'm out of grapes but I'm not too sure that I want to get out. Some kind of pasta sounds good for supper.

Good morning, all. We have 39F with overcast skies and some breeze, heading for a high of 43F. The forecast still says "rain/snow" but at these temperatures it won't be snow, thank goodness.

I had a tough night last night. I hope today's chiro appointment makes that go away.

Coffee, please, Tanya.

I hope your appointment will make your pain go away, too, Robbie. Sending lots of good thoughts your way....

Cooter, Costco has some kind of grapes that are absolutely amazing. They're HUGE -- you have to take each grape in two or three bites. Very firm, yet juicy. And sweet? They're amazing....

I'm headed back to bed.... Now that I've got the pressing work off my plate, I want to get back here to see what you've all been doing to fill my screen with threads to open! emoticon

Coffee, Tanya.

It’s 45F and cloudy. It’s 12:30 PM and already we’ve gotten two scam calls announcing a “final notice” before losing Medicare eligibility. We got one of those calls yesterday. So much for “final notice.”

Since they keep spoofing the number on Caller ID and changing the number, i can’t block them.

A lot of those scam calls start outside the U. S. and are set up with an algorithm that uses our area code and local prefixes. They are virtually impossible to trace. I finally got that call because they left a message.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LIS!!!

Dang it! I don't know why I thought your birthday was TODAY, Lis! So happy belated birthday!

Sounds as if most of you are feeling as poorly as Mr. Queue is. He has another week left of not being able to put weight on the left leg/ankle. Maybe his mood will improve after that? Unfortunately, he will still have to wear the obnoxious heavy plastic boot when he's up and about. And he won't be able to drive himself anywhere until he no longer needs the boot.

I think tonight we'll stay put, have some pasta and meatballs for dinner and binge watch a couple of Oscar-nominated movies via Comcast's "On Demand" feature. It'll be easier (and cheaper) than trying to go out to see the movies. Besides, we're under another winter storm warning, with the snow already starting to fall. I don't want to deal with a wheelchair in this weather!

I do hope all of you start feeling better SOON!

And drive and ride his bike and fix his own breakfast and lunch and do his own dishes and go up and down stairs and take his shower unassisted and retrieve the newspaper from the front yard and walk the Abracadabrador when she comes to stay with us and...
