Hope your condensation issue can be resolved as easily as your hot water tank issue, Robbie.

Wow, Brick, you've been busy! Time to relax...

So glad you had a nice walk, Belle! That cat sounds fun....

Hope you'll feel much better soon, Cooter. Mom wasn't up to her doctor's appointment, either, so I'm home for the day.

Rough night again.... Was up for a couple of hours this morning, and then just gave up for a nap. At 2:30, I finally crawled out of the recliner and put Bean and Bacon soup on the stove. It should be about done. emoticon

It was only an arm and a leg and my first-born child.

My water heater works. My furnace works.

I am impoverished, now.

Cooter, do you get ragweed in your area? I was hearing the other day that this year is particularly bad for those who react to it.

We do get ragweed. Both of my kids have allergies but I don't. Right now I just have draining sinuses and sneezing fits every now and then. I get those at least once a week.

Ummmmmmmm.... Have you broken the news to Dave yet? He was such a nice boy.... *G*

Glad you're back up and running, Robbie. Sorry for the expense, though. emoticon

Well, I went somewhere to pick up some dinner for the two of us. When I got home, Rob’s order was in the bag given me, but not mine. By the time I realized this, the place had closed. Hopefully, they’ll make good on this.

The short ribs were wonderful! This has been a miserable day what with my ailments. I haven't felt bad but haven't had much energy and moving around requires my attention. I'm not sure why I'm cleaning after everything else. I may not finish. I just have to take care of things and leave the kitchen coffee ready! It's in my blood.......lol.

Sorry about the order, Birdz.

Glad all of your stuff works Miz, but I hate that you have to mortgage Dave to be able to pay for it.

No halo here, Robbie. 🙂 It’s more like getting the pain in the ass projects over with quickly. Laziness helps to motivate me. I just set myself up for at least four or five days of shameless idleness. *g*

I’m sure they’ll make good, Birdz.

I hope they'll make good on your dinner, Birdz. I actually can't remember the last time a fast food or takeout restaurant got my entire order correct. It's frustrating.

Hang in there, Cooter. Tomorrow is another day. Mom never made it out of bed today, so it's a rough one....

Thanks, Brick. Every day is a day of its own; we never know how it will go. She had a doctor's appointment that we had to cancel and reschedule. She's got two ultrasounds scheduled for Friday. I don't know how she'll do both. *shrug* We'll just see how it goes...

Hope you'll enjoy your idleness!

We're starting the day with blue skies and sunshine, with a forecast high of 69F. I feel so lucky when I see the temperatures the rest of the country is getting.

Let's see if I can get through today without having several hundreds of dollars in unplanned expenses.

Coffee, please, Tanya.

Buenos dias!

Coffee, Tanya.

It's 76 and partly cloudy skies at present with a shower SW of us. We're not really looking for any rain but showers and/or boomers do pop up this time of year.

Had trouble getting to sleep last night. I've got to take my mask in for a new one because I think this one has developed a tear. I gave up on it last night because of the noise. I think I got to sleep around three.

I have some slight sniffles this AM and hope that's all there will be. Yesterday was miserable.

Good luck on the expense front, Robbie. And now it’s my turn to be envious of your weather. 69F sounds heavenly. We’re expecting temperatures in the mid 90s and high humidity. My plan is to soak up the AC for the rest of the day.

Tara and her family are going away for the Fourth so our get together will be a small one tomorrow. And simple, burgers, dogs and brats. It will be Michele and her family and Sandy and I. Even Uncle Mike is out of town.

Already 85 (heat index 93) at 11:30 am.... Going up to mid-90s, heat index up to 110. Dew point is 75, and humidity is already 72%. Muggy mess.... Heat advisories in effect through tomorrow night. Happy fourth! Not....

Hope you'll all have a good day....

Brick and Lis, your temps are WAY too high!

My Canadian friends are flying to Denver today for a week-long business conference. Denver's forecast high is 94F with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. It's supposed to stay like that all week, and the National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the next several days.

I'll stay here, thanks.

It’s 94 here and partly cloudy. It’s supposed to start cooling off and tomorrow is supposed to be decent. One of my knitting friends is a letter carrier and posted on FB that her boss was giving the letter carriers water to take on their rounds.

Solution: Move to Western Washington. Another gorgeous day on Whidbey. 61 degrees. Gentle breeze. Wide blue sky with clumps of white clouds here and there. On my walk down the grassy path I saw clouds that looked like a buffalo swimming, followed by a shark with its mouth open.
