So appropriate for today's observance of Martin Luther King, Jr., day!

His mentor, Ghandi said, "An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind."

I recently re-watched the movie about Ghandi, starring Ben Kingsley, and the expanded quote was,

"Whenever I despair, I remember that the way of truth and love has always won. There may be tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they may seem invincible, but in the end, they always fail. Think of it: always. An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind."

I sincerely hope our eyes are open, not to be blinded by current rants.
