Re: The Rumpus Room II

Hey, I went to Bad Breath & Beyond as well as Office Despot and have survived (so far) to tell the tale. I got what I think will be nice Wamsutta sheets in a light gray/blue. They're pretty. And I got a new ink cartridge and got it installed.

I understand the grounds are lovely at the poorhouse this time of year.

Badhorsie, no, the reason I hate sheets week so much is that putting the fitted sheets on the mattress hurts my hands. Although folding the buggers is no joy, either.

I'm so envious of you for your new sheets, Robbie! My sister loves her local Bad Breath and Beyond, but she tries to control herself. She says when she goes in, it's hard to come out.

I think you should have two margaritas, Cooter.

I'm with your sister, Belle. There are far too many enticing things there. Today I got in, found what I wanted, and got out.

Folks, when you post an image you need to go back and make sure it "took." Cooter, yours often don't. Belle, yours just now didn't.

I LOVE your nicknames for businesses, Robbie. I just can't ever remember them when the opportunity to use one arises! emoticon

I think I'll have a Lisberry margarita and a hot pretzel with extra salt, please.

My neighbor (now has moved away) infected me with those. Now I almost can't do them correctly.

Put her drink on my tab, Ramundo. School folks need a drink.

Woohoo! Thanks, Ma'am! emoticon Wanna sit over here in the corner with me and do tonight's task (which won't be finished tonight). I'm considering just calling it a night and going to bed.

Ha! Actually, you're darn close. Invitations to our Kiwanis Club's 100th anniversary dinner.

And no, I don't know most of these people, either. emoticon

This has been a rough day. I've just had to get up and sit down too damn many times! That sciatic nerve in my left leg is killing me if I even move. The right one has woken up also........lol!!

I hope that everyone sleeps well and that I can get in and out of the tub for a shower. It will definitely be sleeping pill night and I have no idea where the full moon is. It's almost a new moon but I'm taking one anyway.

Cooter, it makes me so sad to read about your difficult days. I can hardly wait until you get the surgery, and I'm hoping against hope that it stops this horrible pain.

I hope you can get in and out of the tub for a shower, too. I wish you had a shower stall that wouldn't require that big step.

We're on a waning moon cycle, heading for a new moon next Monday. I hope that helps you sleep.

Stars this morning! Moon (such as it was) in the southeast.

I hope you slept last night, Cooter, and are still sleeping.

Robbie, Lis saw a faulty link where the picture ought to be, so the trouble must have been at my end, although I got the picture.

Good morning, all. I’ll decide how to approach the day after a cup or two of coffee. I have a few things that I could do but haven’t decided where to start. I’ll talk to Sandy when she gets up and we’ll go from there, but first things first. Coffee, please, Tanya.

I hope this morning and today are better for you, Cooter.

Stay well, everyone.

Coffee, please, Tanya.

This may take a while because my hands are flopping around but so far have hit the right keys on this! I dropped right off to sleep and slept like a log. I got up to take pills and stuff in the bathroom and Shadow jumped on the counter to help. I went back to be and she jumped up and made herself comfortable.

I finally got up and so did Miss Shadow who made sure that I was aware that she still wanted more attention. That cat is super ruint!

I'm about to go get the paper and maybe put the garbage can out. I'm ready for cereal and blueberries!

Edit: I seem to be slightly better than I was yesterday. (My Spell Check was going to let "yexterday" go......lol.)

Good morning, all. We have 52F under blue skies, heading for 72 and sunshine! It's half-past July and we may finally be getting summer!

With respect to my yarn and knitting, I've had a Very Good Dog who has left it alone. Suddenly, in the last week or so, I've had a Very Bad Dog who has pulled the yarn out of two yarn containers and has knocked one of the drying styrofoam heads off the table and onto the floor. I have now had to shut the door to the knitting room to keep him out of there.

I might finish the scarf today. Maybe.

Coffee, please, Tanya.

Good morning, everyone. On today’s agenda is a trip to the dentist to get the permanent crown and take an impression for a nighttime retainer to deal with the tooth grinding. Then there will be an online quilting guild meeting this evening.

Hope you have a good day, Cooter. I know about sciatic pain. Ouch!

And I hope you finish the scarf, Robbie.

I hope you'll find a lot of relief with your surgery, Cooter.

Good luck with your dental appointment, Birdz.

Who's a good dog? Not Jackson with the yarn! I wonder if he's jealous of you working with it so much.... C'mon, Jackson! emoticon

So glad you saw the stars, Belle!

I hope you're having a good day, Brick.

I never did start putting together invitations last night. I think it was around 9:30 when I hit the sack. Slept fairly well. Now there is even MORE to do today!

Oh. And we're being audited by the Indiana Department of Revenue. Oh, joy!

That reminds me of what my dear Mozart did with a cross stitch project I had just started. He couldn’t stand watching me do anything other than pay attention to him, so he came over, got in my lap, and tore a hole in the cloth. Fortunately, I had just begun the project, so it was not a big loss.

He’s been gone for over 15 years, and I still miss him.
