I get nervous in front of an audience, Cooter. At my former church, the musicians were all at the back of the sanctuary, so I didn't have people staring at me as I played. I much prefer that setup!

Having performed in front of large and small audiences.....some very large....in various ways I learned a long time ago back when singing in a Coffee House that if I missed a chord or revered two verses and just kept going like that's the way that it was nobody knew the difference. I have a great story about our half-time show at the Peach Bowl back much, much longer ago when I left formation about 8 counts too early and wound up in front of the Director on the 50 yd. line with my tuba. I got some applause, because I guess they thought that was some kind salute for a Senior or something. Luther and I did well not to LOAO!!!!

Who is Luther? Your tuba?

What does LOAO mean?

44 here this morning. Cloudy and breezy, but not raining yet. I hope it will stay dry long enough for me to work in the yard today. Yesterday this year's contract came for me to sign and sound back, so I suppose my yard people will be here next week. I want to have as much cut down as I can get cut down for them to take away.

Good morning, all. We have 43F with patchy clouds, heading for 46F and rain arriving late this afternoon.

I suppose I need a grocery store run today. Let's see if I actually do it.

I should finish another bird nest today, too.

Coffee, please, Tanya.

Luther Snavely was our Band Director at the time. LOAO is laugh our asses off.....lol. He said that I looked great!

It's 28 and sunny although a high of only 44 is scheduled for the opening day of baseball here. The next two days will be close to sixty, and I'll attend those games.

Students have been camped out in line for the student section in right field. They even have tents. We used to do that to get our spot up high in left field until they let us rent the space. Much better. We get a grill and a picnic table and can see the entire field except for a small area in left-center against the fence. We bring coolers and can imbibe while eating some good chow. We do more than burgers and dogs.

The hands and fingers are better today. Yay!!

*beep* *beep* *beep* *beep*

OK, here's a forklift load of red roses for Valentines Day, everybody grab an armful. No obligation. Seriously, take some, the forklift is due back at the rental place by 5:00.

A sunny and warm day (and weekend) ahead with highs in the 70's and just enough clouds to make the sky interesting for a change.

I'll have a shot of Frangelico in my coffee, Tanya. It's Friday!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today’s plan is to begin pecking away at the bathroom remodel. Sandy is doing some prep work and I’m on standby. It’s too tight for two people to work at the same time without getting in each other’s way. It’s nothing strenuous or involved.

It was a rainy morning so we postponed until tomorrow. It’s expected to be dry and cool, low of 45, ideal walking weather. It’s been a week since I’ve last been on the trail so I’m looking forward to it.

Glad you’re feeling better, Cooter.

Happy Valentines Day, everyone! And thanks for the roses, Chuck!

Today I’ll tackle a little more of the clutter and rebuild my music on the new iPhone. I’ve bought lots of music from iTunes over the years and it’s on my iMac, but I don’t want all of it on the phone.

DH just heard the former FDA commissioner say that there will be coronavirus outbreaks in the US. emoticon

Happy Valentines Day to all you lovely things!

Chuck, thanks for the roses. I've scooped up way more than a dozen.

And I finished the second bird nest. YAY!

Good morning, all. We have 43F with light rain, heading for 48F and some more rain, joined by some wind.

I should finish the third bird nest today.

And that's about all I know.

Coffee, please, Tanya.

44 and breezy here. I hope it won't rain because I have piles to go before my yard people come. I want to get everything lopped and raked and stacked before they come, presumably in the middle of next week, so that they can get it all cleared out in one session.

Coffee, please, Tanya.

It's 45 and mostly sunny headed for 58 as a high. I'll hit the baseball game today.

A belated thanks to Chuck for the roses. I grabbed a bunch to go with a few chocolates and a huge sloth bear that I got DD to go with and protect her other two bears that she's gotten from me over 43 years.

Not much else going on other than baseball. I'm looking forward to spending time with my friends and watching the game from our vantage point up behind the left-field fence.

I also have lazy fingers that will hit a key twice. Still, I'm typing better this morning.

Hi, folks. It’s sunny and 35F here. Not much going on except I have to go pick up my grocery order.

Good afternoon....

I'm okay, Robbie. Thanks. emoticon Very busy and down a bit, but all is well. Thanks for the Lisberry margarita and the hot pretzel....

Thanks so much for the beautiful roses, Chuck! Who knew you could drive that forklift so skillfully! emoticon

We got quite the snowfall Wednesday night. There was no wind at all, so by Thursday morning, all of the trees looked perfectly flocked with the 5" of snow. But as the day went on Thursday, the winds picked up and the temperatures dropped. We were supposed to have a low of 4 yesterday morning and a low of 9 today. Instead, we had lows of -3 -- and a wind chill of -18 yesterday morning. Yet, we're supposed to have a high of 53 Tuesday. *shaking head*

Thanks for the good thoughts for Mom. She is still hermiting in her room, refusing to go out to the dining room for meals or for any activities. But she called her sister and my sister, so that was a start.

Hope you all had a happy valentine's day and are doing well today.
