West Wing got me through the Bush years too, Lis. It might be a really good idea to start watching it again now.

I'm going to keep my eye appointment but past that I don't know. I'm just dead meat and am not feeling very with it at all.

I'm [sign in to see URL] to hear about Brick's results and hope Birdz new trainer works out.

Just do your best to keep moving, Cooter. I keep encouraging Mom to do the same. Every task achieved is one more task achieved. emoticon

DD figures we can get the old fridge ready today before she leaves tomorrow. They can't deliver until Friday morning, but that's fine. I'll have no trouble keeping stuff cold in coolers. I have a lot of experience with that. emoticon

Thanks, Belle.

Shiva had a good visit today as well. I picked up two prescriptions, one for ear irritation and one for minor skin irritations, not necessary now, but if a need arises I can treat her without another trip to the vet. I’ve used both meds to good effect over the past few years.

Brick, I'm glad to see you and Shiva are both in good shape.

Kudo would say something similar, but today she's basking in her own wonderfulness.

Today I wore my t-shirt with the likeness of a black cat on the front that is the spitting image of Shadow. People asked me about it. Turns out my eye doctor has a black cat named Shadow! LOL!! He loves cats like I do and has 3 rescues.

I'm so glad for your relief, Brick. emoticon And now Shiva will have a little irritation relief for future use, too! emoticon So glad you're both doing well. emoticon

What are the odds of two black cats named Shadow, Cooter? Well.... Cool! Good luck with your new glasses! Mom just announced that the glasses we picked up for her are wrong.... They're "fuzzy" at distance on the sides. Argh! It was so difficult getting her in there for the exam and pickup of glasses.... Not cool....

So is Kudo allowing you to bask in her wonderfulness, Robbie, or is that a one-per-customer bask?

Talked to Andrew. He sounds like a new man. Relaxed, rested, and very enthusiastic about this new campaign. Two weeks ago, he was seriously considering changing careers. He said this is the BEST campaign he has ever worked on -- mine included, LOL! (He said he hoped it didn't hurt my feelings. I told him heck, no! It makes me VERY happy!) A happy Mama heart is a wonderful thing....

Meanwhile, Brett has pulled the Costco steaks from the fridge to put on the grill, and was scrubbing potatoes and sweet corn.... Methinks supper is going to be marvelous!

I think tomorrow I'm going to pick up a few red potatoes and dice them up. Heat some coconut oil in on of my cast iron skillets and chuck the taters in there with some [sign in to see URL], garlic, some herbs and seasonings and when the potatoes are done add cut up leftover steak and heat until ready. Add some salad and that should be great!

Dinner last night was to die for! We'll eat there again, even if it did hit me for $140 including tip with wine and stuff. I'll do that every now and then for that kind of cuisine.

I should have named my black cat Sweater instead of Mousette. (She was the real life cat my dramatic monologue "Shadow" is about). I had a black sweater that I would drop on the sofa. And when I went into the room without turning the light on, to grab it off the sofa, I sometimes got teeth and claws in my hand instead of the sweater.

ROFL, Belle! THAT would have been a surprise!

*calculating how long it will take to drive to Cooter's for dinner tomorrow night* That sounds absolutely wonderful.... emoticon

Well, I'm absolutely stuffed.... As I was walking back to my office, the evening sun was coming directly in my front door glass -- and absolutely highlighted a HUGE strand that reached from the ceiling to a chair sitting near the front door. Good grief. That spider spun herself quite the rope for her drop down!

I hope that your hand survived, Belle! LOL!!

Lis, I see spider webs outside, and especially in the trees sometimes connected to the house, and I have no idea how they do it. I have a security light out front, so I let the spiders alone so long as they don't make webs in my garage. No door.

I'm weary. Fortunately, DD isn't leaving tomorrow until late in the afternoon, which I didn't know. I've cleared the fridge and packed 3 coolers. I was able to save most everything that I cared about keeping.

*shudder* I leave them alone outside, too, Cooter. They have a right to be there. But inside? *shudder*

I bet you're bone tired after clearing out that entire refrigerator, Cooter! Hope you can relax the rest of tonight and tomorrow!

I've still got to disconnect the water line to the icemaker after I turn it off, unplug it, pull it out and clean where it sat. That's NOT going to be fun!

I'll be able to get a few things back, [sign in to see URL].

Coffee, Tanya.

It's 71 and partly cloudy here at Cooterville. The radar is funny because there are a bunch of these little blue areas scattered all over two [sign in to see URL]. Scattered showers.

Today I'll order my glasses, pick up a few things at the store and DD and I will get the old fridge ready to leave and clean behind it. I don't know how much of that I can do. She's a little better off than I [sign in to see URL].
