Exactly. And Paul Ryan will be right there with him. As I keep saying, both believe in The Gospel According to Ayn Rand.

I wouldn't mind if the door -- or an anvil -- hit this one on the way out

William Bradford, a Trump appointee who sent racist and anti-Semitic tweets before being chosen to lead the Energy Department’s Office of Indian Energy, resigned from his position on Thursday....

Before he joined the administration, Bradford had referred to Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s chief executive, as a “little arrogant self-hating Jew” and had called President Obama “Kenyan creampuff” on Twitter:

"I think Obama was given his mission in Tehran long ago, and it suits him just fine. How else can a Kenyan creampuff get ahead?" (12/17/16)...

Earlier this week, CNN reported on an online account that appeared to belong to Bradford that called Obama "the son of a fourth-rate p&*n actress."

Re: Last One Out, Please Turn Off the Lights

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump's longtime aide and current director of Oval Office operations Keith Schiller has told people he intends to leave the White House, three sources familiar with the decision told CNN.

Schiller has told associates within the last two weeks that he plans to leave the White House at the end of September or in early October, the sources said. Schiller has told people his primary reason for leaving was financial, the sources said. Schiller earns a $165,000 annual salary at the White House -- a downgrade from his annual earnings before he followed Trump to the White House....

Schiller's White House salary was a decrease in income from his pre-White House time at Trump's side, when he earned $294,000 from his employment at the Trump Organization, Trump campaign and his private security firm, KS Global Group last year.

Re: Last One Out, Please Turn Off the Lights

(]The New Yorker) - Staff departures have been a constant of Donald Trump’s first year in the White House. Michael Flynn has put in a guilty plea. Steve Bannon, Reince Priebus, and Anthony Scaramucci were pushed out. Sean Spicer is off working on a book. Omarosa Manigault, the former contestant on “The Apprentice” whom Trump installed in the Office of Public Liaison, was reportedly fired, on Tuesday. In September, Politico reported that “a fast-growing number of White House staffers” were updating their résumés, making lunch dates with headhunters and prospective employers, and counting the days until 2018. “There will be an exodus from this administration in January,” one Republican lobbyist told Politico. It has already been confirmed that Dina Powell, the deputy national-security adviser, will leave the White House early next year, and that Paul Winfree, the deputy director of the White House Domestic Policy Council and the director of budget policy, will head back to his old job at the Heritage Foundation after this week. Gary Cohn, the director of the National Economic Council, has signalled that he will leave the Administration once the fate of the Republican tax bill is decided.

This degree of churn is “off the charts,” according to Kathryn Dunn Tenpas, a non-resident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, who has spent years tracking White House turnover rates. Next month, Tenpas will release her findings about Trump’s first year in office. The data—some of which she shared with me this week—is striking: even if every one of Trump’s senior aides stays put until January 20th, the anniversary of his Inauguration, his first-year turnover rate among senior staff—some sixty positions in total—will reach or exceed 33%. Turnover, as Tenpas defines it, includes resignations, firings, and shifts of position within the White House. Trump’s first-year turnover rate will be three times higher than both Barack Obama’s (9%) and Bill Clinton’s (11%) and double Ronald Reagan’s (17%), which is as far back as Tenpas’s analysis goes. And this, almost certainly, is just the beginning. Every one of the past five Presidencies saw a massive jump in departures during its second year: typically, the rate more than doubles as staff burnout intensifies, legislative initiatives bog down in Congress, and midterm elections, almost inevitably, deal a setback to the President’s party.

Rachel Maddow announced a whole list of people who announced they were leaving today -- including a number of members of Pence's staff.

The US Ambassador to Panama has just resigned over Trump's comments about sh*thole countries.

In his letter to the State Department, Ambassador John Feeley said he is resigning on principle and can no longer serve the Trump Administration.

Buh bye, T-Rex.

Hello, Volcano.

And yet again, Trump fires the guy without even telling him.

More evidence that the entire "Apprentice" was nothing more than lines for a bad actor.

Re: Last One Out, Please Turn Off the Lights

Oh, there are more, all just today....

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson (Rachel Maddow is reporting that Tillerson came back EARLY from Africa -- either because he didn't feel well, or because he wanted to make sure he was in US airspace before Trump could fire him, "depending on who you ask.")

Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Steve Goldstein (fired for telling the truth about the timeline for Tillerson's firing)

NASA Administrator/Director Charles Bolden (served in the Obama Administration and resigned the day Trump was sworn in; Trump asked him to stay on, and he has been Acting Administrator for 14 months; Trump's nominee will not be able to be confirmed by the Senate, and Bolden just isn't going to hang around any longer, so he quit again)

Head of the US Forest Service Tony Tooke (multiple allegations of sexual misconduct -- which seems to be a badge of honor in the Trump White House)

Personal Assistant to the President Johnny McEntee (fired and rushed out of the White House so quickly he couldn't get his coat; accused of serious financial crimes, reported tonight as online gambling and tax issues; immediately hired as a senior adviser on the Trump Campaign)

Nicole Wallace is standing by her reporting that McMaster will be out within days....

And VA Secretary Shulkin will likely be gone within days, to be replaced by Perry....

Donald, with everyone in your administration either resigning, retiring, or being fired, i wouold like to once again offer my services as U. S. Ambassador to Italy. As a US - Italain dual citizen who holds degrees from both Chicago and Northwestern, and who is fluent in both English and Italian, and speaks a passable German, i believe i am uniquely qualified for service as your representative in Roma. And if you need yet another residence, i might be putsuaded to remodel one of the vacant chicken coops at my family villa at Duino - Aurisina. Small but cozy if only we can eliminate two or three centuries worth of the odor of chicken !@#$.

Hawk, that's a very inviting offer! Of course, you understand that Trump can't read anything containing multi-syllable words, and you'll need to add a lot of pictures of Trump to your application....

But I have to say, he would fit right in with the chickensh*t!

Except there he could actually say "You're fired!"

In real life he can't, and has to tweet something kind of like it.

Like most bullies, he's a coward.

(]CNN) - Energy Secretary Rick Perry said on Thursday he is not interested in leaving his post for another cabinet position. Perry spoke as he arrived at a budget hearing on Capitol Hill, and told CNN he has no interest in replacing embattled Veteran Affairs Secretary David Shulkin. "I've got the perfect job," Perry said. "I'm a happy man," he told CNN, saying "no," when asked specifically if he was interested in the VA post.

A happy cabinet member? Oh, yeah, he's at Energy. Probably doesn't have to interact with Trump much.
